9th Anniversary of the Grenfell Tragedy

As the anniversary of the Grenfell Tragedy approaches, we remember the 72 lives lost, and stand with the bereaved families, survivors and the wider North Kensington community. Grenfell is not only a national tragedy; it remains a deep local trauma, carried every day by those who lost loved ones, homes, health, safety and trust.

Remembering must mean more than reflection. It must mean never forgetting the victims, never allowing their names or stories to fade, and never accepting silence where accountability is needed.

The forthcoming enquiries and legal processes must be transparent, rigorous and centred on the experiences of those most affected. The community continues to need long-term support: legal, emotional, practical and social.

Healing cannot be rushed, and justice cannot be partial.

As the local Law Centre, North Kensington Law Centre remains committed to standing alongside bereaved families, survivors and residents.

Our role is to help ensure that people are heard, rights are protected, and the pursuit of truth, accountability and justice continues.
